Notre Dame Men's Association
To Provide for the Spiritual and Social Wellbeing of the Parish
The NDMA was established on November 8, 2008, and held its organizational meeting on January 20, 2009. The mission of the association is twofold: first, to provide for the spiritual and social needs of the men of Notre Dame and second, to strengthen and improve the parish community.
To these ends, the NDMA organizes an annual weekend retreat for men each fall at the Holy Family retreat house in West Hartford. There are quarterly dinner meetings held in the church hall where members socialize and plan events for the year. Events include baseball outings to Yankees, Mets, and Bluefish games and a Communion breakfast with a guest speaker.
The NDMA sponsors and hosts several events for the parish community including Lenten suppers every other Friday during Lent, and a New Year’s Eve dinner dance, all held in the parish hall.
All men of the parish 16 years of age and older are welcomed and encouraged to join and participate in the association activities. This is also a great father-and-son opportunity!
