Notre Dame of Easton Church is pleased to be able to offer public worship again. We are taking precautions per the CDC and Connecticut state recommendations regarding public gatherings. In addition we are taking further measures here to protect our staff and parishioners health and safety. We look forward to welcoming you and your family back to Notre Dame, but please understand there are risks involved in attending a public Mass in a pandemic despite all of the precautions taken by this church and the Diocese of Bridgeport.

To help make our Masses run well we are asking for assistance from parishoners to help at each Weekend Mass. We are looking for 3 or 4 volunteers to help with each weekend Mass. If you would like to volunteer please contact the Church Office by phone or you can email NDeastonmasses@gmail.com

REGISTER FOR A MASS!
Public Masses are now being offered at Notre Dame of Easton in the Church Hall.
Please note Masses will NOT be held in the upper church.
MASS SCHEDULE & INFORMATION
- Masses will be offered with the following schedule: Monday-Thursday at 7:30 AM (No Mass on Friday). Saturdays at 5:00 PM and Sundays at 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
- Per state and Diocesan guidelines we will be limiting Mass attendance to 50 person per Mass. Bishop Caggiano has continued to dispense the obligation to attend Sunday Mass through the summer. Diocesan Rules can be found HERE.
- The only entrance in and out of the church hall will be on the right, rear side of the church with the awning (elevator entrance). That is where check-in for each Mass will take place.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR MASSES
- Masses will be held by sign up using SignUpGenius, a website that will assist with attendance at each Mass. You can use the link below beginning June 15th to begin registering for Masses. If you have any issues, please contact the Church Office.
- Masses for the following week will be made available on Sign Up Genius on the previous Monday.
- We ask that you be considerate in signing up for Weekend Masses to allow as many people to attend Mass over a week period as possible.
- Online Registration is only necessary for Weekend Masses, not weekdays.
- We kindly ask that you register for weekend Masses (Saturday and Sunday Masses) by 12:00 PM on Saturday.
TAKING PRECAUTIONS
- Masses will be held in the Church Hall, practicing safe social distancing guidelines. Masks must be worn during Mass, but can be removed during the reception of Communion. You will be responsible for bringing your own mask. If you are feeling ill or have a temperature above 100.4, please stay home out of precaution for yourself and those attending Mass.
- If you have experienced a high fever, shortness of breath, or cough in the last 14 days, please refrain from attending Mass out of precaution until your symptoms have passed.
- The elderly and most vulnerable should consider not attending Mass for the time being.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING MASS
- We kindly ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the Mass that you have registered for so that you can check-in. You must be pre-registered to attend the Mass. Please note that the side door will be locked at the start of the Mass out of precaution for those attending the Mass.
- During the Mass we ask that you follow directions as to the reception of Communion. Father Lyons will be coming to you in your seats to bring Communion.
- There will be no sign of peace during the Mass.
- There will be no collection during Mass, however there will be a basket available for you to drop in your offerings.
